Whilst Air France seems to be trying to upgrade their product, they are constantly let down by the poor service spirit and lack of attention to detail which still prevail among quite a few members of their staff.
Air France thinks they make a difference by leaving the center seat (yes, this is a 3 x 3 configuration in an Airbus 320!) empty, but the seat is uncomfortable, has no IFE, virtually no recline, no footrest.
Until Air France can actually provide a choice of food, at a quality which doesn't embarrass their home country, provide guaranteed connections for passengers AND baggage, provide terminal staff that are polite, knowledgable and interested in the passengers and improve their terrible punctuality, I won't choose them again.
