Air Marshall Islands general manager Dan Fitzpatrick said Friday that one charter flight had already been sent to Kiribati and another was scheduled for next week with the airline looking at re-establishing a permanent service.
Air Nauru has operated between the Majuro and Kiribati under a code-share agreement with Air Marshall Islands since it started a service two-and-a-half-years-ago linking Australia and Fiji with smaller islands in the Pacific.
