It is a fully-owned subsidiary of All Nippon Airways (ANA).
An Air Nippon flight from the southwestern Japanese island of Shikoku to the northern city of Sapporo with 133 passengers on board was forced to land before reaching its destination January 3 after monitoring equipment indicated a problem with the back-up brakes.
Air Nippon is a subsidiary of Japan's second-largest carrier, All Nippon Airways.

The Air Self-Defense Force said the two fighters were taking part in a landing exercise guided by rader, and were flying under the instructions of air traffic controllers but had not obtained landing approval, the reports said.
