  Yokota Air Base - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Yokota Air Base (横田空軍基地), a base of the United States Air Force, is located in Fussa City (福生市) and nearby communities in the suburbs of Tokyo, Japan.
The base serves as the headquarters for United States Forces Japan, and is currently used for airlift missions throughout East Asia.
The facility which houses Yokota Air Base was originally constructed by the Imperial Japanese Army in 1940 as Tama Airfield, and used as a flight test center.

 Bagram Air Base - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Bagram Air Base is located at the antique city of Bagram near Charikar in Parvan, Afghanistan.
Control of the base was contested from 1999 onward between the Northern Alliance and Taliban, often with each controlling territory on oppossing ends of the airfield.
By early December 2001 troops from the 10th Mountain Division shared the base with Special Operations Command officers from MacDill Air Force Base in Florida and soldiers of the 82nd Airborne Division from Fort Bragg.

 Taszar Air Base
Taszár Air Base is located in the south-central region of Hungary, approximately 35 kilometers northwest of the city of Pécs (pronounced Paych).
U.S. Air Force and Army units from across Europe and the United States combined forces from 16-21 November 1995, to survey the condition of four airfields in Hungary for possible use by U.S. forces should they be sent as a peacekeeping force in Bosnia.
Bases surveyed were Fokto, a former Soviet helicopter base; Taszar, an active Hungarian Air Base with three Mig-29 squadrons; Sarmellek, a former Soviet Air Base, now a civilian airport supporting some military; and Kiskunlachaza, a closed Soviet Mig base in caretaker status.

 Incirlik Air Base
The Air Force originally wanted to use the base as an emergency staging and recovery site for medium and heavy bombers and the Turkish General Staff and U.S. Air Force signed a joint use agreement for it in 1954.
On Feb. 21, 1955, the base (originally named Adana Air Base) sported the 7216th Air Base Squadron as host U.S. unit, and changed the way the U.S. Air Force’s presence in Europe and Asia was viewed by other countries.
The base was a key contributor in the Gulf War era serving as a hub for operations such as Operations Quick Transit, Provide Comfort and Northern Watch.

The base had deteriorated badly over its six idle years and a major renovation project was required to return it to acceptable standards.
Graduates went on to a Basic Training base for an additional six months and upon satisfactory completion of that phase of training Cadets were commissioned and all graduates received their coveted silver wings.

The 47th Flying Training Wing at Laughlin Air Force Base is one of five Air Education and Training Command pilot training units and conducts specialized undergraduate pilot training for the United States Air Force.
