AIRKENYA is the lone aviation company that the Tanzania Civil Aviation Authority’s (TCAA) licensing board has denied a licence to operate in Tanzania’s airspace.
Six Kenyan aviation firms were among 19 local and international companies that sought the authority’s approval to offer aviation services in the country.
TCAA Director General Margareth Munyagi said in a statement over the weekend that the authority’s licensing board, on its third ordinary licensing meeting mid this month, approved 18 local and foreign companies to operate in the Tanzania airspace.
