Airline (TV series) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Airline is a British and later, American television reality show that showcases the daily happenings of passengers, ground workers and on-board staff members of Britannia and later easyJet in the British version, and Southwest Airlines in the American version.
The programme showed a lot of the action onboard the aircraft, with people such as Captain Peter Clack, BJ Albrich, Pat Baines, a lion, Cathy daffy (and her boyfriend Matthew) and Gerrie-Anne [a girl who was left at Manchester airport] (and her father [the man who wanted an airline employee to be reprimanded and sacked]).
The show is broadcast on the AandE Network, and is centered on passengers and flights originating out of Southwest hubs at Chicago Midway, Los Angeles International and Baltimore-Washington International, although it often follows passengers on to their final destinations.

Airport is a British reality television series based at London Heathrow Airport, Britain’s busiest airport, broadcast by the BBC and syndicated to UKTV People, part of the UKTV network.

Celebrities who have been seen on the show include, Kylie Minogue, Michael Jackson, British boy band Blue, Marillion, Brian May, Tom Jones, Kate Winslet and several heads of state including the Queen Elizabeth II and President Bill Clinton.

DVD Verdict Review - Airline: The Complete Season One
At times, watching it feels akin to actual airline travel, and airline travel is one of the most masochistic forms of bureaucracy devised by humankind to punish us for our collective sins, whatever they may be.
To an American, this show resonates the same way a crowbar resonates when you smash yourself in the face with it, which is hardly at all.
Airline may have been doomed from the start, at least conceptually; but they make the best go of it as humanly possible and that is to their credit.
