		Special heed must be given to Ajattara's lyrics, remarkable for being cliché-free and poetic, yet disturbing and haunting as only a bad dream arising from deep dank soil of the local woodlands can be.
		As with those who partake of the flesh of gods, the listeners of Ajattara will never be quite the same again.

		I researched Ajattara a bit and found the band has existed since 1996 in one incarnation or another, and, brace yourselves, features Amorphis’ Pasi Koskinen on lead vocals, keyboards and guitar.
		Now, I do know Dimmu Borgir and Cradle Of Filth (snicker all you want) and Ajattara is definitely not riding their coattails by any stretch of the imagination.
		To reiterate, Ajattara relies on a simple, verse-chorus-verse song constructions that, for the most part, convey far more than the overt complexity sometimes lost in, say, Emperor’s work.

		Well, this review is not made any easier by the fact that there is no English to be found in the packaging.
		Seeing as Ajattara is from Finland, or so I'd gather by the language on their CD, this is understandable in many ways, but considering the English dominance of the media world, be it mainstream or underground, a bio in English would have helped.
