The Al Bhed are a sort of "untouched" race of people, who are often shunned because they dare to use Machina (ancient machines, supposedly one of the downfalls of Zanarkand).

Lucky for you there are Al Bhed Primers scattered through out the world.
The volumes are a little confusing at first because it seems you have more than one letter collected of the same, but don't worry.
Those letters in Red are already translated and the ones not red are still originally in the Al Bhed language.
