The PBPK model of Corley was used to "back-calculate" human equivalent dose of 5.1 mg/kg/day, assuming that rats and humans receive their entire dose of EGBE from drinking water over a 12-hr period each day.
EGBE is eliminated primarily as BAA in urine, with lesser amounts of the glucuronide and sulfate conjugates of the parent alcohol (Bartnik et al., 1987; Ghanayem et al., 1987c).
High confidence is placed in the NTP (1998) study because it was a chronic study, it employed both male and female rats and mice, it had a wide range of exposure levels, and it observed animals twice daily.

Al had already read the script and loved it and gave it to me and I was immediately attracted to it because of the backdrop being where we had started together." The decision for Al Corley to direct came from Corley himself, laughs Rosenblatt.
Corley is known for his many performances in front of the camera, most notably the role of Stephen Carrington on CBS's Dynasty.

It’s nice to hear Corley, who’s straight, say on the DVD that he wished they’d made Steven more comfortable with his homosexuality because it would have been a more interesting character and better for the show.

This scene is all about how Al is really into making a social statement about homosexuality and he thinks it's really important to teach America that Gays Are People Too, and Esther and Richard are thrilled, because they also want to make Sweeping Social Statements.
Tragically, this vignette from casting does not address the problem with Al Corley, which is that he was a REALLY TERRIBLE ACTOR.
Anyway, Al reads the audition piece for the brass, and I would certainly like to know who this "Bart" person is that he keeps talking about because I am pretty sure these lines are from the plotline when Steven was involved with Ted Denard, whom Blake killed by pushing into the fireplace.

Dynasty: The Complete First Season | PopMatters Television Review
As Al Corley (who played Steven Carrington for the first two seasons) remarks in "Family, Furs, and Fun: Creating Dynasty," Dynasty reveals the "essence" of the decade.
Steven is a hopelessly conflicted character who wants the love and respect of his father, but realizes this will only come by repudiating his sexuality, and who decides at last that dad's acceptance is worth such a dire cost.
Corley argues that this "vacillating" in the character was mostly driven by producer and writer concerns about audience homophobia.

Bigger than the Sky (2005): Marcus Thomas, Amy Smart, John Corbett, Claire Higgins - PopMatters Film Review
But, something happens halfway through Peter's journey that shifts Al Corley's Bigger Than the Sky, new to DVD without extras, from an adorable tale of self-discovery through community theater to an ode to theater itself.
Here's why: when Peter is cast as Cyrano, his costars in the play, Michael (John Corbett) and Grace (Amy Smart) decide to teach him how to act the part by showing him a bit of off-stage adventure.
When the love story heats up, Corley changes his mind again, and the film turns into a behind the scenes laugh-a-thon about opening night preparations.

John Corbett, Amy Smart, Sean Astin, Patty Duke, and Greg Germann enter and exit doing hammy versions of ham roles, and Topsy-Turvy's Allan Corduner goes over the top and through the stratosphere as that great, great (ailing) local theater legend, Kippy.
