Cultural capital - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
(Harker et al, 1990:10; Webb, 2002:37; Gorder, 1980:226).
It is formed not only by the habitus of the family (Harker et al, 1990:11) but also by the objective chances of the class to which the individual belongs (King, 2005:222), in their daily interactions (Gorder, 1980:226) and it changes as the individual’s position within a field changes (Harker et al, 1990:11).
As Webb states, “Bourdieu insists that practice is always informed by a sense of agency…but that the possibilities of agency must be understood and contextualised in terms of its relations to the objective structures of a culture” (2002:36).

Lohri et al [19] analyzed the outcome of patients at first relapse, and found that three factors were highly predictive of outcome irrespective of the kind of salvage treatment: initial stage IV disease, B symptoms at relapse, and remission less than 12 months.

 U.S. Patent: 5300188 - Process for making substantially smooth diamond - April 5, 1994
Harker et al., The polishing of polycrystalline diamond films, SPIE 1325 pp.
It is therefore an object of the present invention to provide a process for providing a diamond layer having a substantially smooth surface and a predetermined and controlled thickness on a substrate.
Nucleation of the diamond crystals is initiated and controlled by the disbursement of nucleation causing particles on the surface to be coated by the film, thereby providing a method for patterning of the polycrystalline diamond deposits such as proposed in U.S. Pat.

Increased oxidation of LDL is one mechanism which has been proposed to contribute to the atherogenic potential of homocysteine (Parthasarathy, 1987), and it is currently believed that oxidation of LDL is a key early stage in the development of atherosclerosis.
It is chemotactic for monocytes, and once these have entered the arterial wall and differentiated into macrophages, oxidized LDL may inhibit their migratory ability and thus trap them (Daugherty and Rateri, 1993).
Certainly, the possibility that pharmacological supplementation with antioxidant vitamins may be harmful at high doses cannot be discounted, and recommendations relating to the use of such supplements must await the results of studies in progress.

Weed suppression was similar whether yellow sweet clover was harvested as hay or its residues were incorporated or left on the soil surface, suggesting that a portion of the weed suppression effect may be due to allelopathic compounds being released from decomposing yellow sweet clover.

Effegi) is the most widely used method of measuring firmness in a range of fruit (Harker et al., 1997).
These instrumental measurements were able to discriminate differences between very hard fruit that tactile assessment was unable to perceive, but hand assessment was able to discriminate differences between soft fruit when the instrumental measurements were unable to measure differences.
This curvilinear relationship is typical of the psychophysical basis of human perception of texture (Harker et al., 1997).

There is evidence that resources remain a key limitation on planning (Harker & King, 1999; Simons, 2000; Thompson & Wright, 2001).
There are not enough options in housing and support, and resettlement programmes often use a single model of provision (Harker & King, 1999; Simons, 2000; Thompson & Wright, 2001).
