In Al- Baqarah the Jews were pointedly invited to accept the Guidance and in this Surah the Christians have particularly been admonished to give up their erroneous beliefs and accept the Guidance of the Quran.

In a refreshing change to tradition, many Islamic poets are embracing the teachings and life of Isa al Masih.
Some say that this embrace of Jesus represents a challenge to the Koran, where nothing is said of his divinity and crucifixion.

Therefore, as is evident, that they will not be able to be referred to as followers of 'Isa (as), because, as it says in several places in the Qur'an, those who believe in the Trinity have slipped into denial.
When we compare this verse with the 55th verse of Surah Al 'Imran, we can recognize a very important fact.
The verse in Surah Al 'Imran speaks about 'Isa (as)'s being raised to the presence of Allah.

The Muslim Jesus, known as ‘Isa
(Âl 'Imran 3:84) Like all the Muslim prophets before him, and like Muhammad after him, ‘Isa was a lawgiver, and Christians should submit to his law.
‘Isa’s mother Mariam was the daughter of ‘Imran, (Âl 'Imran 3:34,35) — cf the Amram of Exodus 6:20 — and the sister of Aaron (and Moses).
(Âl 'Imran 3:74-77, 113) Although Christians believe ‘Isa died on a cross, and Jews claim they killed him, in reality he was not killed or crucified, and those who said he was crucified lied (An-Nisa’; 4:157).

What verse 59 of Surah Al ‘Imran offers is very interesting: “The likeness of ‘Isa in Allah’s sight is the same as Adam…” In this verse we can see there must be a number of similarities between the two prophets.
Further evidence of the second coming of ‘Isa (as) can be found in the use of the word wakahlan in Surah Maida, 110 and Surah Al ‘Imran 46.

`AI-i-`Imran.', like the names of many other surahs, is merely a name to distinguish it from other surahs and does not imply that the family of `Imran has been discussed in it.
The first discourse (vv.1-32) was probably revealed soon after the Battle of Badr.
It should also be noted that this review of the Battle is quite different from the reviews that are usually made by generals on similar occasions.
