GN Online: Al Muharraq triumphs in volleyball again
Al Muharraq kept a close eye on the rear view mirror to ward off a spirited Al Wasl Challenge for the seventh successive GCC Club Volleyball Championship title.
On the other hand Al Muharraq made a strategic blunder of keeping their seven-foot tall spiker Mohammed Jashim at the back of the court while playing in the hands of Al Wasl's trick of soft exchanges at the net.
On the other hand, Al Muharraq's Jashim Nabhan was hitting, to borrow tennis term, aces after aces with his power-packed services, executed with a high jump.
