Al-Zubayr Rahma - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The British, however, were worried about a possible alliance between Zubayr and the Mahdi and moved him from Cairo to Gibraltar in 1885 where he remained in exile there until 1899.
When the Mahdist revolt broke out Gordon asked for Zubayr's exile to be ended as he recognized that only he had the military skill and the connections in the region to defeat the uprising.
Zubayr traveled to Cairo to complain, but once there was refused permission to return to his southern dominions.

That is because the members of the house (ahl al- Bayt), peace be on them, were the family of the Prophet, life-boats, and safety for the creatures, as the Prophet, may Allah bless him and his family, said.
Al-Kumayt referred to the verses that concerned the members of the house (ahl al- Bayt), peace be on them.
They firmly believed in the succession of the members of the house (ahl al-Bayt), peace be on them, to authority after the Prophet, may Allah bless him and his family.

 Nubia - Part 2
Isma'il's officials had failed to destroy Zubayr as Baker had crushed the slavers east of the Nile, and to elevate Zubayr to the governorship appeared the only way to establish at least the nominal sovereignty of Cairo over that enormous province.
Thus, the agents of Zubayr continued to pillage the Bahr Al-Ghazal under the Egyptian flag, while officially Egypt extended its dominion to the tropical rainforests of the Congo region.
So powerful had he become that in 1873, the year Baker retired from the Sudan, the Egyptian viceroy (now called the khedive) appointed Zubayr governor of the Bahr Al-Ghazal.

Ayah 135 of Al ‘Imran means: Who forgives the sins except Allah (i.e., no one forgives the sins except Allah).
Additionally, this treatise is meant to be an extension to what has been said and composed of articles about Ibn Taymiyyah's case, applying Ayah 110 of Al ‘Imran, which means: You are the best nation that were sent out to people, because you bid the obedience and forbid the disobedience.

In 1874 al-Zubayr Rahma Mansur, the Ja‘ali Arab slave trader who had created a personal fiefdom in the Bahr al-Ghazal in the southern Sudan, destroyed the Fur sultanate opening the pastures and cultivations to the Baqqara Arab nomads.
When the British destroyed the Mahdist State in 1898, Ali Dinar, who had inherited the title of sultan in 1890, restored the Fur sultanate and spent most of the next eighteen years driving the Arab nomads north and south of the agricultural lands surrounding Jabal Marra that comprised the heartland of his sultanate.
In October Médicines Sans Frontières reported that thousands of IDPs had been traumatized by the violence, but when the UN and other humanitarian agencies sought entrance into Darfur to assess and relieve the suffering they were met with manipulative obstruction from the Khartoum government.

H-Net Review: Leland Conley Barrows on "Il Flagello degli schiavisti" Romolo Gessi in Sudan (1874-1881) con trentatre lettere e dispacci inediti
A final chapter estimates the possible influence of Gessi's campaigns in and administration of the Bahr al Ghazal on the rise and success of Mahdism in the Sudan, and a short Conclusion reconsiders the myths and realities of Gessi's career in the Sudan.
Rather, argues Zaccaria, recruits to the Mahdist movement came from the ranks of the Baqqara and Danaqla Arabs who, disliking the Ja'alin, Sulayman's people, had initially allied themselves with Gessi and had been disillusioned by his failure to honour any of the commitments that he had made to their leaders.
The latter, indeed, considered the possibility of arresting Gessi for dereliction of duty in the Bahr al Ghazal and possibly also for murder, because of some executions he had ordered.

Myth #3 - Allah is the Same as the God of the Bible
According to Lewis, et al., the earliest appearance of Hubal in the epigraphic record is in an inscription from Nabataea (a region in northwest Arabia, roughly present-day Jordan), in which he is associated with Manawat, which is cognate with the name of the daughter of Allah, Manat
However, what is forgotten is that Allah itself comes directly from "al ilah", so the "al" in "Allah" comes from the article, and is not a part of the Arabic term for "god" itself.
Many Muslim apologists will attempt to associate the God of the Bible with Allah upon the basis of an argument that Allah is basically the same term as the Eloah of Biblical Hebrew (an intensive form of El) and the Alaha of Aramaic.

 Tahqiq Qira'at al-Fatiha min Tabyin Aqwal al-Qadima
I think it would be appropriate here to end with Imam al-Nawawi's judgement concerning the various Hadith proofs that appear to contradict the position that our school has taken (and this is only suitable for Shafi'i followers, lest others might be distracted from their path by this ta'arud al-adilla):
We have briefly surveyed the most credible parts of the evidence used by those who say that the Fatiha recitation is not absolutely Wajib (and there is Rahma there in this khilaf among the fuqaha' of our Umma).

 Islam: Women & Gender Issues
Indeed, the Islamic God has characteristics that are expressly feminine; one of his most important "names" is al-Rahman (the All-Compassionate) from the Arabic rahma, which comes from the word rahim, meaning womb.
Arabic may refer to him by use of the male pronoun, but he is never described as "father" or "lord" as he is in the Judaeo-Christian tradition.

 The Revival
However, the weakness of Abd al-Rahman ibn Zayd was known by Ibn al-Jawzi, Subki, Bayhaqi, Hakim, and Abu Nu`aym, yet all these scholars retained this hadith for consideration in their books.

 From the Two Sanctuaries
Whoever forbids such recitation outside of the funeral prayer, has to provide an explicit proof to that effect and show that it cancels out the generality of these and other narrations.
The above is further confirmed by the report that al-‘Ala’ ibn al-Lajlaj said to his children: "When you bury me, say as you place me in the side-opening (lahd) of the grave: Bismillâh wa ‘alâ millati rasûlillâh – In the name of Allah and according to the way of Allah’s Messenger.
