Alan Brough was born in 1924 in Wilmslow, Cheshire.
His father (also Alan Brough) was a Manchester sculptor, well-known for his busts of George V and George VI and for his carving in coal of coalminers working at the face.
He stayed at the Leach for four years before starting his own pottery, Alan Brough Pottery, in nearby Newlyn, Cornwall.

Cheryl (Belinda Emmett) and Darlene (Sallyanne Ryan) seem to have been named so the last syllables of their respective names are always accentuated for maximum ocker overkill.
Problematic right from the creaky opening crane shot, Bill Bennett's slice of humble Australiana is a low-powered lame brain excuse for cultural stereotyping set in the ruins of David Caesar's burgeoning backwater empire.

Trailer: It runs for 2:11, is in non-enhanced 1.85, has DD2.0 sound and does a bang up job of promoting that which it’s supposed to.
It’s all great fun and ends with an Angela Bishop report on the film’s premiere in Mudgee taken from Ten news.

Starting the night off was the Big Band 2004/2005 playing such hits as "Are We Keeping You Up Sir?", "I've Got You Under My Skin" (wonderfully sung by Alan Brough) and of course the one and only "Spain".
Every year the College Jazz Band meets up just before Christmas to welcome any Alton College Jazzers, old or new, to play in the final gig of the year.
