Project Gilgamesh: Expression evaluation: Simkin, Micromath, Frink   (Site not responding. Last check: 2007-11-04)
Alan Eliasen has posted a comment mentioning his project Frink.
Alan noted that he'd thought about using this in a Spreadsheet: I would love to see that happen, and I have to admit I'd be seriously tempted to use it in Gilgamesh.

Art in America: Dean Eliasen at Lorinda Knight - Brief Article   (Site not responding. Last check: 2007-11-04)
The dozen or so acrylic-on-canvas abstractions shown by Dean Eliasen evoke mathematical sequences, interplanetary exploration and topographical maps.
Eliasen's art emerges out of a strong regional modernist tradition, specifically the Op art paintings of his former instructor at the University of Washington, Francis Celentano.
But whereas system is the overriding generator of Celentano's images, Eliasen favors a curving, not to say reeling, motion of circular fragments.

Alan's Unsolicited Advice: Anytime you're involved with a project where you hear people saying "we want to use 'X' technology" before they've even thought about representing the problem they're trying to solve, look up for the cloud of doom, which floats nigh.
