Alan G. Kirk II has been sworn into office as the Assistant Administrator for Enforcement and General Counsel of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
Kirk graduated cum laude from Princeton University in 1950 and from the School of Law, University of Pennsylvania in 1956.
Kirk is married to the former Joan Carr of Carmel, California.

After the most volatile week in nearly five years, the week was capped off by the worst jobs report since August 2003.
My plan is to look for some trades in the precious metals area and keep a close eye on how my favorite stocks deal with this morning's sell pressure.

Kirk Wegter-McNelly has recently completed his doctorate in systematic and philosophical theology at the Graduate Theological Union, Berkeley, California.
Among other CTNS projects to which he contributed while at the GTU, Kirk served as co-editor for two CTNS publications: the most recent volume of the CTNS/Vatican Observatory research series, Quantum Mechanics: Scientific Perspectives on Divine Action (CTNS/VO, 2001), and the SSQ volume, Science and the Spiritual Quest: New Essays by Leading Scientists (Routledge, 2002).
This fall, Kirk will join the Religious Studies Department of Manhattan College, New York City, teaching primarily courses focused on the relation between religion and science.
