George "Alan" Dawson was born in 1929 in Marietta, Pennsylvania and raised in Boston's Roxbury neighborhood.
Alan always felt that coordination was good to have, but when taken to extremes it could set up rhythmic interference instead of keeping the groove going.
Alan once stated that, "The difference between jazz and other music is like the difference between marching and dancing - marching is done on the heels and dancing is done on the toes.

Muslims, Jews, Christians Join To Condemn Zionism
Hart, who had enjoyed close friendship with "Father Palestine", Yassir Arafat and "Mother Israel" Golda Meir - so much so that despite being 48 years younger than her, in her cabinet circle, and much to their annoyance, he was known as her "boyfriend" - has over the years, waged war on Zionism.
Hart started his speech with a quotation from his book that reads, "If the Jews of the Diaspora can summon up the will and the courage to make common cause with the forces of reason in Israel before it is too late for us all, a very great prize awaits them.
According to Hart journalists were not necessarily sympathetic to the Zionist state but the problem was with the owners of big publishers who were afraid of being punished for their honesty by their advertisement plugs being pulled.

Alan immediately understood the game and declined the invitation, handing the case over to the Eurolinux Alliance.

Alan Hart, a young 65, has been engaged with events in the Middle East and their global consequences and terrifying implications – the possibility of a Clash of Civilisations, Judeo-Christian v Islamic, and, along the way, another great turning against the Jews – for nearly 40 years:
Alan is credited with having played a leading role in getting the “North-South” issue onto the agenda for political and public debate throughout the Western world and beyond.
When Alan asked him why he was still campaigning at the age of 82 even though he was being reviled by Zionism, he replied: “The first person I see when I get up in the morning is me.” Alan, too, has to be able to live with himself.

Hart will always be a biased man, who never realized the terrorists in front of him were butchers of children and the heroes of the Isreali state that they wish dead are the true reightous people of the middle east.
Hart's central thesis is that Israel is well aware that the P.L.O. is willing, and has been for some time, to establish peace on the basis of UN Resolutions 242 and 338.
Hart's work is obviously biased toward Arafat and the P.L.O. Readers should compare it with Begin's book, "The Revolt: Story of the Irgun," to learn how successful terrorists play first the terrorism and then the political card to achieve their ends.

He’s Alan Hart a British journalist, and author of the book “Arafat, Terrorist or Peacemaker?” One reviewer said that Hart’s Arafat was “a man of courage tempered by warmth and sensitivity”, which may give you an idea of which side of the question he comes down on.
If Alan Johnston is dead, it’s my hope that the BBC at executive management level will rise above its fear of offending Zionism too much and allow its reporters (Frank Gardner and Jeremy Bowen are second to none) to make a full, thorough and honest investigation.
Although Hart repeats over and over on his site that he is quite aware of the distinction between anti-Zionism and antisemitism, his delusive approach to reality suggests that there is more to his motivation than a simple journalistic search for truth.

Term papers on "Arafat: Terrorist or Peacemaker" by Alan Hart, "Arafat: Terrorist or Peacemaker" by ...
"Alan Hart, in Arafat: Terrorist or Peacemaker?, presents a well-balanced portrait of the Arab leader Yasser Arafat, demonstrating convincingly that he was indeed once a terrorist, using methods of terror to advance what he believed was a just cause, but who then became a true peacemaker.
The author does not pretend to argue his case with an eye for objectivity, but instead is dedicated to urging the Americans to use their clout with Israel to persuade that nation to deal with Arafat and to understand the beliefs behind his tactics of the past.
In any case, Hart is convinced (and gives the reader a powerful argument to share that convincement) that Arafat must be respected as a major player in any peace which emerges in the Middle East.

It's one of the great ironies in Alan White's career that he came to fame in the shadow of the drummer he replaced in Yes, Bill Bruford.
In a way it was neither musician's fault — Bruford was considered, after Carl Palmer, the hottest drummer in England, while White had, in the public's perception, played in a few highly visible bands and gigs without a lot of acclaim.
No more fitting tribute to Alan White's abilities exists than that paid him by Bill Bruford, who applauds the sheer power of White's playing and the fact that he has retained his inventiveness over any number of extended arena-to-arena tours.

Indigo Jo Blogs: Review: MPAC UK and Alan Hart at Friends' House
The occasion was the launch of Hart's new book, Zionism: The Real Enemy of the Jews, and it was controversial well before it began, having to be moved from Westminster University to Friends' House in Euston Road at suspiciously short notice due to death threats and various machinations by "Zionists" within that university.
Hart, however, did not respond to my request to enumerate who might have been behind the supposed upsurge in such activity; if it was more of the same from the usual suspects, it certainly does not prove a link to events in Palestine.
Hart began by saying how much he admired Zionism, and that if President Bush could wave a magic wand and put Israel behind the '67 borders, creating a Palestinian state with a capital in East Jerusalem then, he said, 'I am sure he would have over 90% of the Arab world behind him'.

Expanding the debate, Hart added that the assumption is that “Zionism and Judaism are the same thing, therefore criticism of Zionism is anti-Semitism but Zionism is the nationalism for some Jews, a tiny minority.”
