Alan Schezar is a lot more powerful than the regular Goliath.
The Dark Templar can only be built in "Starcraft Brood War", but in the first "Starcraft" you can get the Dark Templar as a hero.
Zeratul is also a Dark Templar in both "Starcrafts".
