MacGregor, the plaintiff, giving evidence, said that he was an author, that he was born in the Highlands of Scotland, had lived in Scotland until 10 years ago, and had spent the whole of his childhood in the Highlands.
MacGregor said that he anticipated difficulty in obtaining permission to make the film on St. Kilda and suggested that it should be made on Mingulay, one of the Outer Hebrides, an island which had been evacuated in 1910.
