The Alaska Aces are a minor league ice hockey team in Anchorage, Alaska.
They were renamed the Alaska Aces in 2003.
The team gained national notoriety in 2004 when it signed New Jersey Devils all-star and Alaska native Scott Gomez after the NHL lockout, who went on to lead the ECHL in scoring and win league Most Valuable Player honors.
