Just a quick note to let you know that Wandering Albatross has safely delivered Chris and me to Luperón, Dominican Republic, where we intend to spend the next 5-6 months, waiting through the hurricane season.
We had a great time in the Bahamas and spent about five months there, then about three weeks in the Turks and Caicos, though the last two weeks were spent anchored at uninhabited islands, swimming, reading and visiting with any other boats that happened to arrive while we were there.
We’d love to have you come visit, either to stay on the boat with us, or to stay in one of the nearby resorts – there’s one very close, here in Luperón, and another fairly close by (about a half hour drive?) in Puerto Plata.

According to local Colorado media, Ted Haggard is leaving the Vatican City of the religious right (Colorado Springs) to pursue a degree in psychology in either Iowa or Missouri.
So, there is probably some little church in Missouri or Iowa where they need a new pastor and might have missed the news on “Pastor Ted.” Notice he says we have been “offered” two places.
Maybe the Haggard’s were “offered” places to stay in Missouri and Iowa by owners of gay guest houses.
