10 Wn. App. 169, DOROTHY I. ORSBORN, Individually and as Executrix, Appellant, v. OLD NATIONAL BANK OF WASHINGTON, ...
That the promissory note was given to extend and renew the obligation; that no new different or additional consideration was received by plaintiff or the Estate of Albert G. Orsborn as a consequence of the execution of the promissory note of November 15, 1968; that the consideration for said note was moral consideration only.
Other findings of the court are that no claim against the estate was filed by the defendant and that the plaintiff gave notice to creditors in the estate of Albert G. Orsborn as required by law and that the nonclaim statute, RCW 11.40.010, expired June 8, 1968.
Therefore, when appellant signed the November 1968 note, she did so as executrix of his estate; and consequently, a prior valid obligation of the estate, unenforceable because of the running of the nonclaim statute, was revived as against appellant representing the estate.

The first meetings were held in a hall in Shelley Road before we moved round the corner to the current location in Palmerston Road in 1898.
When General and Mrs Albert Orsborn (right) retired to Bournemouth in 1954 and decided to soldier at Boscombe Corps they were the first Salvation Army leaders to reside in Britain after retirement.
They were, from the outset, much loved and respected soldiers, and entered into the life of the Corps wholeheartedly and occasionally the General was invited to lead one of his own songs during open-air and Sunday meetings.

Soak up the atmosphere of The International Staff Band performing yet another Royal Albert Hall premiere, The International Staff Songsters celebrating their 25th anniversary, the sublime cornet skills of David Daws and the added sense of occasion inevitable in the presence of overseas visitors from The Netherlands (The Amsterdam Staff Band) and Sweden (VasaGospel).
The album cover would often portray the Albert Hall platform, scene of lion-tamer tunic-wearing bandsman, surrounded by the ranks of bonneted songsters in their thousands stretching up to the roof of the cavernous old building.
As much as I love the atmosphere of the dear old Albert Hall, the Victorian design of the auditorium means that the visual and acoustic enjoyment can depend very much on where you are seated in relation to the action.

 Christian Perfection
Despite the foregoing I am convinced that a mystical dimension is to be found in Wesley's groping after adequate theological expression where he and the mystics knew language to be forever inadequate: an acquaintance with God so intimate and intense, exquisite and abysmal that the heart apprehends what the head fails to comprehend or communicate.
One thinks of the hymn-line of Albert Orsborn, "The mind cannot show what the heart longs to know." When the heart moves from longing to know to knowing, the head still cannot "show" it.
With respect to this aspect of the economy of faith Wesley consistently exhibited traits of mystical gold even as he continued to denounce mystical dross.
