Ethanol - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Ethanol, also known as ethyl alcohol or grain alcohol, is a flammable, tasteless, colorless, mildly toxic chemical compound with a distinctive odor, one of the alcohols that is most often found in alcoholic beverages.
Most alcoholic beverages can be broadly classified as fermented beverages, beverages made by the action of yeast on sugary foodstuffs, or as distilled beverages, beverages whose preparation involves concentrating the ethanol in fermented beverages by distillation.
Alcoholic drinks have a large variety of tastes because various flavor compounds are dissolved during brewing.

Tankard (band) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
After losing their guitarist because of their image as a bunch of drunks, they moved on to issue their first record in 1986.
From that point on, the band has continuously made songs and records in the same style they started out with - fast metal songs in honor of alcohol.
Thus they claim to have invented a new genre called "alcoholic metal".

AMON AMARTH, the masters of Viking-ish Death Metal, have released their second album "The Avenger" and so Alex fearlessly plunged onto the battlefield to bombard a heavily hung-over Johan Hägg with his questions (maybe the German beer was a reason for some answers being, hm, a bit strange, hehe)...
Surrounded by the "old school" of Death Metal like DISMEMBER or GRAVE on the one side and the Gothenburg-style on the other, you have managed to create pretty much of your own sound...

 REVIEWS METAL
To be honest since those days only very few bands within the traditional Metal genre really convinced me. Those NWOBHM bands definitely had something really special and I still prefer the sound and the atmosphere of those old recordings compared to contemporary high tech and sterile productions.
This is a hell of a Death Metal album full of brutality, skilled musicianship and very varied and matured song writing.
The sound is quite good, yet very raw and the overall impression to me an obvious proof that the guys are certainly highly skilled musicians, but they still seem a bit insecure in a live situation (let's blame it on their pretty young age...).

There could be more thickness in the bass drum and the guitars and the vocals could have been thickened, but other then that, I didn't find any real issues.
There were some imperfections on the album such as a guitar not tuned perfectly to the bass or a drum slip up, but even still, very destructive and powerfull all the same.
I think with some time in a Canadian studio and maybe the production of maybe Devin Townsend, Cirrhosis will be a monster of a death metal band receiving 10’s on every review, but only time will tell.

Black metal fans will find this band bows to no one, even as it reminds us of Enslaved, old Emperor, Opeth, old Solefald, and others of their ilk.
Their seemingly scatological, "brown metal" lyrics are cryptic, beyond easy comprehension, and that might be just as well.
It's a little bit power metal, a little bit folk metal, a little bit doom, a little bit prog, and yeah, a little medieval / rennaisance, but put it all together and not only does it not make sense, but it makes so little sense that it makes absolutely perfect sense.

It is a solid, symphonic speed-blast metal album with of course a nod of the head to the fl metal scene.
In comparison to their countrymen Bal-Sagoth (who are but one of the few bands excelling in British Black Metal), the music lacks a lot of inspiration beside the shock value of having naked women claw at each other on the cover.

Yes, it actually is. Finland has at the moment quite a big scene with metal, but there isn`t so much demand for our kind of kick-ass stuff.

The sadness that permeates the disc is striking in the current chart climate, as is the album’s slightly addled mentality (abundantly evident in "Alcoholic" and the murky "Coming Down").
The wan backing, which often consists of little more than spare guitar or piano lines, may try the patience of some, but the low-key arrangements make the more aggressively strummed folk-rocker "Poor Misguided Fool" and the edgy "Talk Her Down" soar that much more.
Singles such as the passionately violent "Alcoholic" and melancholic dark hues of "Fever" touch upon Starsailor's own pop stylings.

Spawning from an anti-human alcoholic daze this might well be the most deranged Black Tribe recording since 1999s "War" demo.
Like its predecessor, this demo is mostly a statement against the growing mud of weird people in "the scene", and if any of those pro-life potheads are reading this they are strongly urged to leave as fast as their prepubescent legs can carry them.

Their current music, though a far cry from the early death metal days of the band's beginnings, is extremely effective, with its memorable choruses and well-orchestrated song structures.
Cleverly mixing conventional fl metal elements with further metal, gothic, or somewhat "folksy" influences, they have succeeded in creating a single half-hour track which is interesting, unusual and, to some extent, rather compelling.
Laying their songs down on thrash (rather than death) metal structures, relying on the high number of lightning-speed breaks, razor-sharp riffs and mouth-dropping guitar leads in each of their tunes to keel you over, Soilwork can hardly be forced to fit in the usual Swedish metal frames.

US consumers overwhelmingly favor traditional packaging in their food and beverage purchases and continue to consider the metal can the safest of all containers, according to a new packaging trends report.
The report, which was compiled by the Can Manufacturers Institute (CMI), also reveals that while the metal can ranks among the three most trusted formats, busy consumers want future metal-container innovations to keep up with their desire for simple, easy-to-use and convenient packaging.
An impressive 88% of the 1,000 individuals surveyed said they favored traditional packaging - metal cans, glass and plastic - over paperboard packaging and pouches.
