Becoming Immortal is a good introductory short volume, marred by the fact that it has one of the worst covers ever designed.
Brian Wowk's Cryonics: Reaching For Tomorrow is published by a cryonics organization called Alcor.
Like much material written by Alcor members, including the sci.cryonics FAQ and many Cryonet postings, it has a great deal of accurate and relevant information, but is somewhat marred by its stressing Alcor history and achievements to the exclusion of all else.
