Alex Deakin (born North Ferriby, outside Kingston upon Hull, Yorkshire) is a weatherman for the BBC, broadcasting on British television and radio.
Alex appears regularly on BBC News 24, BBC Radio 4, BBC World and BBC One, and is one of the main weather presenters on the BBC Six O'Clock News.
Deakin attended South Hunsley Secondary School and went on to achieve a master's degree from the University of Birmingham in Physics with Astrophysics.

Worst is Sian Lloyd, she is so expressive with her hands when showing us the map!
He seems to use some nice friendly terminology and quite often explains a bit about why such and such a weather occourance happens.
