Alexander McNair (May 5, 1774 March 18, 1826) was an American frontiersman and politician.
McNair was born in Pennsylvania where he lived for the first 30 years of his life.
McNair was elected governor in 1820, receiving 72% of the vote and defeating the famous explorer William Clark.

During the first half of the eighteenth century, David, John and Alexander McNair, sons of a Scotch Covenanter, came to America from the north of Ireland and settled along the Delaware river below Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
He was intimately connected with the stirring events of his period, and served well both his country and his state.
He was educated in St. Louis, and was appointed from Missouri, September 22, 1856, to acting midshipman at the United States Naval Academy at Annapolis, from which he was graduated, class of 1860.

I am hoping you sent this message in reply to me. I know very little about Daniel McNair other than he was born and died in Scotland, he wed Helen Campbell around 1836 and that Daniel is an uncommon Scottish name for that era.

Bottom line, if you play Griese and McNair at the right times, you'll probably get comparable production, although a little less, as you would out of Garcia.
But Pittman isn't going to come close to matching Alexander's stats when all is said and done.

And as with all of McNair's recipes, if you're watching your fat or cholesterol, there's not a lot here for you unless you're prepared to do some heavy modification.
