New Jersey Storm owner Jayson Williams today pleaded innocent to charges stemming from the fatal shooting of limousine driver Costas Christofi at Williams' estate in February.
Williams is accused of shooting Christofi with a.12-gauge shotgun in the early hours of 14 February, accidentally discharging the gun while recklessly handling it during a tour of his forty-room mansion.
Christofi, hired to drive Williams and several friends from a Harlem Globetrotters game in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, to Williams' estate in Alexandria Township, New Jersey, was on the impromtu tour, as was every other guest.

During Wednesday's township council meeting, officials said their actions have been based on concerns that COAH will remove its affordable-housing certification, which would make the township vulnerable to a builders' remedy lawsuit and higher density housing.
Township officials said they followed a COAH order when they voted to change the planning designation of the Windy Acres site from environmentally sensitive to a planning designation that promotes growth.
According to the new requirements, New Jersey municipalities must regulate that all new storm-drain inlets conform to the DEP's design standards; an educational brochure must be provided annually to residents and businesses; and an annual education "event" must be held.

In 1744, James Alexander purchased a 10,000 acre tract of land from the West Jersey Land Society that became Frenchtown New Jersey and the surrounding countryside in Alexandria Township.
It was this early planning in Frenchtown NJ and Alexandria that formed the foundation that others came and built upon for another 100 years.
It was of such strategic importance during the Revolutionary War that the Council of Safety of New Jersey on April 13, 1778, agreed to exempt John Sherard and three men employed by him at his ferry from doing duty in militia until further orders.

The Crown Vantage Landfill site is an inactive industrial landfill located off Milford-Frenchtown Road (County Route 619) in Alexandria Township, Hunterdon County, New Jersey.
In addition, the Lower Delaware River, downstream of Alexandria Township, is a National Wild and Scenic River.
EPA completed shoring up specific areas of the landfill in November 2004, after the bank of the landfill was substantially damaged by flood waters associated with summer hurricanes.
