  Alexei Yagudin - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Alexei Konstantinovich Yagudin (ru: Алексей Константинович Ягудин) (born March 18, 1980 in Saint Petersburg, Russia) is an Olympic Champion (2002), a four-time World Champion and a three-time European Champion in figure skating.
Alexei Yagudin is famous for his footwork in the ice and putting passion into all his performances.
Yagudin was coached by Alexei Mishin from approximately age twelve to age eighteen at which time he relocated to the United States and began training with Tatiana Tarasova, who continued to coach him until his retirement in 2003.

Alexei wasn't only technical perfect in "The man with the iron mask" he was so wonderful emotional and intense.
Alexei deserved it with the footwork of his "normal" short programm "Winter" which is better than everything else I have seen in the last 20 years.

 Urmanov had warmed up with the final flight of six skaters but a groin muscle he pulled doing a jump in the short program the previous night was too painful to compete, he later explained.
 Urmanov hasn't won a world championship medal since winning bronze in 1993 in Prague, then capturing gold at the 1994 Olympics in Norway, where Stojko was second.
Urmanov, 23, was fourth at the 1994 worlds, fourth in 1995 and fifth last year in Edmonton.
