Alfred Dubs, Baron Dubs of Battersea in the London Borough of Wandsworth is a United Kingdom politician.
Dubs was Labour MP for Battersea South and later Battersea 1979 to 1987.
Born in Prague, then in Czechoslovakia, Dubs was one of 669 Czech, mainly Jewish, children saved by English stockbroker Nicholas Winton from the Nazis on the 'Kindertransport'.

Anna Paquin ("X-Men" series, Darkness), Alfred Molina (Spider-Man 2), and Patrick Stewart ("X-Men" and "Star Trek" series) will voice the North American dubbed version of director Katsuhiro Ôtomo's Steamboy, which Sony's Screen Gems will release in limited theaters on March 18th.
This is a breath of fresh air to see a corporation see the values of an English dub for anime instead of just giving fans the finger by not having one at all and then forgetting to put real English subtitles on the DVD.
My suggestion when judging dubs: pay no attention to folks who write negative things before hand and form your OWN opinion.

Missing from the rough-cut viewed by Hitchcock and his collaborators on April 26 were the essential ingredients of a complete audio track and a musical score.
No matter how much Hitchcock trusted his composer and sound mixer, he always dictated detailed notes for the dubbing of sound effects and the placement of music.
In fact, the Psycho screenplay suggest that Hitchcock was anticipating and experimenting at minimizing music, an attempt that was eventually to culminate in the Birds, which had no conventional musical score at all.
