Bies also noted the DPI indicated that Algoma has a student-teacher ratio of 10.64 to 1, compared to 13.17 for Kewaunee and 13.44 for Luxemburg-Casco.
Polecheck also said Algoma serves as fiscal agent for the LC-Algoma special education co-op, and those expenditures could make Algoma's budget figures look worse even though 70 percent is actually paid for by LC.
