		Ali's bravado and bluster dominate the screen; people gravitate towards him almost instinctively, whether in the ring or on a Harlem street corner.
		The decade encapsulates most of the vital events in Ali's life: his association with the Nation of Islam, his refusal to submit to the draft (and three-year banishment from boxing), his loss to Joe Frazier and triumphant return to the heavyweight throne against Foreman.
		Ali respects Cosell's blunt honesty and willingness to challenge him, while Cosell sees a highly ethical young man with a willingness to grab the world by the tail.

		The encounter between Ali and boy's father where he describes what happened to his son was the most powerful scene I've seen in any movie, it brought me literarly to tears.
		This movie laid the foundation for other popular hood movies like boyz n da hood and others, but it is much more than a hood movie it takes you through the struggles of life on the streets and how sometimes you can't help the situation that you're in.
		The movie is predictable and although sometimes gripping, the overcome is clearly inferior when compared with other movies of the same genre.

		This is one movie of which I have to say that the trailers and HBO Making Of Special are much better than the movie.

		The movie doesn't focus too much on the boxing (and even when it does, it's nothing exciting), which is good since boxing is a stupid, exploitative sport.
		While Ali comes out on top on most of the fights depicted in the film, he took his share of punches later on, something that is not revealed in the film nor actively realised by most people who are familiar with his life.

	Ali - Movie Review - Will Smith
		This movie chronicles around a decade of his life: from his first title win through his refusal to go to Vietnam all the way to the Rumble in the Jungle versus George Foreman.
		The part of the movie that got to me the most was Ali's refusal to enter Vietnam, not that I disagree with his stance or am informed enough to really know what he I would have been thinking in his shoes.
		But the real performance, in my opinion, came from Jamie Foxx as Bundini (one of Ali's trainers), he was as serious as cancer when he needed to be, and as hilarious as always when the movie needed some punch.

		For the first 45 minutes of Ali, I couldn't tell if it was a film about Muhammed Ali or Malcolm X. Maybe that won't bother you, but it bothered me. I wanted to learn something about Ali that I didn't already know.
		And I liked the scenes with Ali and Howard Cosell, the interaction was lively and caring, and the actors (Will Smith, Jon Voight) seemed to have a chemistry.

		ALI is an interesting biographical film that rests uncomfortably with Ali's political and social impact rather than his athletic impact.
		Will Smith is completely wonderful as Ali, he gives a performance to remember, along with Jamie Foxx for Ray, and Tom Hanks in Forest Gump, the others are also great, another good performance from Jamie Foxx, of course Jon Voight is great.
