We are all Shia of Ali, and Ali is the Shia of Muhammad.
Imam ali did not claim he created the universe, if he did people would of even be more confused, and even called him a kaffir, even though when he said he was a servant they called him a kaffir and made his blood halla, i wonder what they would of said if he was god.

He faced an uprising by Agha Mohammad Khan of Qajar and he fought with him with his small army, then he escaped to the city of Shiraz and ordered the gates to be closed.
Agha Mohammad Khan invaded the city and ordered to his soldiers to blind everyone and himself blinded Lotf Ali, then Lotf Ali was sent to jail in Tehran and was ordered to be killed few years later.

He moved from time to time to various cities, specially between Ray and Baghdad, but finally returned to Ray, where he died around 930 A.D. His name is commemorated in the Razi Institute near Tehran.
