 Aliaksandr Hleb - FM-Britain
Hleb is a flamboyant midfielder who joined Arsenal from German team Stutgart for a fee of £10.25m and was worth every penny.
Hleb’s worst stats are his heading and marking which may let him down when playing in the middle of the park.
Hleb coming to his best would be good for any top side but the only downside is the extortionate price tag that comes with the player.

Aliaksandr Hleb looks a contented man as he appears on German pay-per-view TV to promote his club VfB Stuttgart’s upcoming Champions League tie with Chelsea.
Hleb was on the scoresheet and played no small part in writing 19 November 2003 into the short history books of Belarusian football.
Instead, following Hleb’s example, the intention is to nurture talented young players in the hope that they are signed by clubs with a strong international presence which, in turn, will have a positive effect on the Belarus national side.

Player Profile: Aliaksandr Hleb (Belarus) || Arsenal Times - Unofficial Arsenal F.C. Message Board
Aliaksandr Hleb may not seem the most glamorous summer signing for those whose European football knowledge tends to dissipate at Dover.
While Hleb was orchestrating the midfield machinations of a gloriously swashbuckling young side, Timo Hildebrand was smashing Oliver Kahn’s domestic goalkeeping record by shutting-out all comers for over 800 minutes, Philipp Lahm was becoming the best full-back in the country at 20, and Kevin Kuranyi the nation’s great scoring hope.
With Hleb keen to kick-on again, and the Arsenal collective sharing his sense of inertia after an anti-climactic season, the Belarussian may just be the catalyst required to launch a serious assault on the Premiership and make his club’s final season at their old home a stately one.

The days when Scotland had reason to sniff at such humble opposition are long gone, and it only takes a look at the leagues in which some of the Belarus players are plying their trade to recognise why they will fancy their chances against Scotland.
Hleb (pictured) might have gained the high profile in Germany that Michael Ballack enjoys, but he has had a difficult time in the Bundesliga this season and will not have shed many tears with the announcement that former Germany defender Matthias Sammer was sacked last Friday.

It would be misguided tocall Scotland's Group Five opponents on Wednesday night a one-man team - prior to this weekend, Aliaksandr Hleb had started only one of his country's four qualifying games - but the VfB Stuttgart midfielder is the player who allows Anatoliy Baidachniy's side to harbour pretensions of grandeur.
Those who know Aliaksandr best say that he maintains a childlike love of the game, but due to a combination of his Russian heritage and dislike of interviews, has failed to attain the iconic status of the likes of Michael Ballack.
He is also a weak header of the ball, and his range of passing is limited, factors that intervene when he is played in central midfield as opposed to his favoured role behind the strikers.
