Aliant varies their plans slightly between provinces, so the same Imove 80 plan costs $18 in Nova Scotia, $20 in New Brunswick, and $25 in both Newfoundland and P.E.I. There are also several other plans available -- see their website for more details.
Aliant also offers a pre-paid cellular plan for casual users.
Aliant Mobility targets their cellular products to a wide array of users from casual users with their pre-paid phones all the way up to the power user requiring 4000 min/month.

A couple of weeks ago I read this post that talked about Harold discovering he was paying for aliant’s ultra high speed but not getting high speed. He discovered from other readers that they too were also having the same problem.
Aliant does not have the bandwidth to support the “dedicated” connections it sells, so it screws most people, and they don’t notice.
While I certainly think both Aliant and Rogers need to do some work to reach a “feel good place” to the consumer, it sure doesn’t help Rogers having their sales reps treat potential customers like this.

 Aliant CEO to leave before BCE merger
Aliant Inc. said Monday that its chief executive will step down when the company forms an income trust to run merged telephone and internet operations in Atlantic Canada, Ontario and Quebec with BCE Inc.
On March 7, Aliant and BCE (TSX:BCE) announced plans for the trust, which will combine Aliant's telephone services in Atlantic Canada with Bell Canada's telephone lines in Ontario and Quebec.
Shares of Aliant finished down 14 cents at $35.55, while BCE was off seven cents at $28.27 on the TSX.
