	IDN Bands: Alias
		Alias was formed by guitarist-Mark Severns, drummer-Phil Arnt and bassist-Dirk Van Tilborg in 1985 in Sarasota, Florida.
		In 1989, Alias returned to Telstar Studios with new vocalist Carl Hayden to record their highly anticipated follow-up, “Metal To Infinity.” During 1989, the band also toured and produced several music videos, which received airplay on MTV, College Satellite Network, Much Music, Laser25 and V-32.
		Currently, there are plans for the band to get together and record a new album as well as the possible release of a live album featuring various periods in the band's career.

		Alias Eye was founded in late 1998 when Philip Griffiths, Matthias Richter, Frank Fischer and Ludwig Benedek, who had been playing together for over four years, teamed up with keyboarder Vytas Lemke.
		In spring 2000, the band was brought into contact with the dutch label DVS Records who signed Alias Eye in November of that year.
		Work on Alias Eye's debut album "Field Of Names" began immediately; an adept producer was found in Christian Schimanski, who had a grasp of the sound and feel the band was aiming for.

		Well you could for the components at 1/8, 1/4 and 1/2 of the new sample rate but the component at 1/16 is at 1/2 the old sample rate and its actually easier to remove it before up sampling than after.
		The big problem is that their cuttoff is at exactly fs/4, putting their transition band right over the area where you already want to be cutting.
		In Secret Rabbit Code, all the filters are designed so that the start of the stop ban coincides with the very start of the possible alias band and the transition from pass to stop is immediately below this.
