	Alice Parizeau - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
		Alice Parizeau (born Alice Poznanska) on July 25, 1930 in Luniniec, near Cracow, Poland â“ died September 30, 1990 in Outremont, Quebec, Canada was a jewish writer, essayist, and journalist.
		In France, she studied law and political science and in 1955 visited Quebec where she decided to live when she was offered the chance to set up a public library in Montreal.
		The "Ãcole Alice Parizeau" in Montreal and the "BibliothÃ¨que Alice-Parizeau" in Saint-Esprit, Quebec were named in her honor.
