Alice Pearce (October 16, 1917 - March 3, 1966) was an American actress.
Pearce was also a good friend of actor and photographer Cris Alexander; When Alexander was working on the illustrations for Patrick Dennis's bestseller Little Me he asked Pearce to appear in the work as Winnie, the reform school friend of Belle Poitrine, the biography's subject.
As the nagging and nosy neighbor, Gladys Kravitz, Pearce's scenes were almost entirely reactions to acts of witchcraft she had witnessed at the house across the street.

Plaintive Alice Pearce was born in New York City, the only child of a bank vice-president, but was raised in different European schools -- wherever her father had business.
She became a huge hit on the nightclub circuit which eventually paved the way to Broadway, She drew raves in the "New Faces of 1943" and was sensational in the role of the sexless, adenoidal blind date, Lucy Shmeeler, in the New York smash "On the Town"; the very next year.
In May of 1964 Alice had surgery and was already diagnosed with terminal cancer by the time she began the "Bewitched"; sitcom in September of that year.
