Stomp Tokyo Review - Godzilla vs Gigan
If Godzilla seems a little tired-looking in Godzilla vs Gigan, it's because the suit used in the movie had been in an unprecedented three films, and it was in pretty sad shape by the time it got around to fighting the cyborg space monster Gigan.
Keep in mind, we're talking about a series of films that seems to think nothing of trotting out dozens of different alien races, all from different planets, yet all of whom feel the irrestible urge to wear jumpsuits.
Godzilla vs Gigan is not the film we'd recommend for anyone's first Godzilla experience -- it has too many scenes that run long, and the aliens aren't even bad in a fun way, they're just bad.

Godzilla was originally an allegory for the effects of the hydrogen bomb, and the unintended consequences that such weapons might have on Earth.
In Godzilla 2000 it is discussed that Godzilla possesses a component known as "Organizer G-1", "Regenerator G-1" in the English version of the film, which allows him to heal from any wound, possibly even regenerate himself from mere fragments.
Godzilla's size in the animated series shifted even more radically and with greater frequency than the films - sometimes within a single episode or even one scene - as sometimes Godzilla\'s claw will wrap around a large ship, and only minutes later the team of scientists fit rather neatly on Godzilla's palm.

 Godzilla History.
Godzilla is an incredibly huge, nearly invulnerable, dinosaur-like, radioactive monster with the ability to blow some sort of destructive nuclear plasma mist out of his mouth to ignite, explode, or melt things a considerable distance away.
Shot in grim fl and white, with well-done camera angles and altered film speeds to increase the impression of great size, Godzilla was impressive-looking by the standards of the 1950s and the models he smashed were built with an obsessive attention to detail.
The new Godzilla (formerly Godzilla Jr.) is expected to continue the series in a few years, perhaps after the American "Godzilla" films have run their course.

Stomp Tokyo Video Reviews - Godzilla: Final Wars (2004)
The studio announced Godzilla's retirement with great amounts of ballyhoo, and promised that the creature's last film, released in the 50th year of his career, would be a show-stopper.
The newest adventures of Godzilla performed modestly well at the box office and received only occasional theatrical showings and low-profile DVD releases in the U.S. Proving that they are nothing if not a pragmatic company, Toho decided to see if they could make a box office splash with Godzilla's "final" film.
It's a bit of a shock to see Godzilla pull a few kung-fu moves out of his bag of tricks, but the coolness factor of watching a pack of monsters clobber one another simply cannot be argued.
