He called upon the people to cast their votes in favour of the candidate of the Netaji Party so that he (candidate) could question the government in Parliament why the Netaji Inquiry Commission had, so far, not been set up despite the announcement made by the government in March this year.
Mr V.P. Saini, who is also Chairman of the Netaji Research Foundation, emphasised that political battle, started by his party, would go on for ever or at least till the nation was accorded the highest place among nations and the revolutionaries were assured their rightful place in the history of India.

ROOPNAGAR, Aug 1: The All India Netaji Revolutionary party has resolved to field its president V.P. Saini as candidate for the Hoshiarpur Lok Sabha seat.
Disclosing this at a press conference here last evening, V.P. Saini, who is also the chairman of Netaji Research Foundation, said the party will not field any other candidates elsewhere in the ensuing Lok Sabha elections as the party only wants to make its presence felt as of now.
He cited the left parties' resolve to support the Congress as the reason for not joining the Forward Bloc and cited the close association of the CPI (M) with the Forward Bloc as reason for his doubts.

ROOPNAGAR, Sept 2: The mission of V.P. Saini, founder president of the All India Netaji Revolutionary Party, is not to win the elections, but just to make his presence felt.
A staunch supporter of Subhas Chandra Bose, he named his party after Netaji after his 20 years of struggle to get a fresh inquiry commission constituted to probe the disappearance of Bose.
Although he has an association with the leaders of All India Forward Bloc, a socialist party formed by Bose, Saini preferred to float an organisation of his own to ``maintain distance from the bi-polar politics''.
