	Allan McNish Formula One Driver
		McNish, with his proven technical expertise, was a key member of the Renault team, testing alongside race drivers Jarno Trulli and Fernando Alonso during the Friday practice session, and being a valuable contributor to the development of the car over the course of the season.
		March 2002 saw Allan start a Formula One race and although his debut at the Australian Grand Prix with the Toyota F1 team was short lived, thanks to a first corner crash involving half the field, the Scotsman had at last achieved his goal of a seat at the pinnacle of motorsport.
		Allan's efforts for the Japanese marque as their official test driver in 2001 paid dividends and he was rewarded with the full time race seat for the 2002 season, partnering F1 veteran Mika Salo.
