		Alleanza Nazionale è un partito politico costituito nel 1995, ha ereditato il nome del movimento politico fondato nel gennaio 1994 da Gianfranco Fini, segretario del Movimento sociale italiano (MSI), per dar vita a una destra governativa di tipo europeo.
		Sotto la sua guida, dopo la vittoria alle elezioni politiche del marzo 1994 nella coalizione del polo delle libertà con Forza Italia, Lega Nord, e Centro cristiano democratico (CCD), si giunse allo scioglimento dell'MSI e alla nascita del partito (congresso di Fiuggi, 25-29 gennaio 1995), guidato dallo stesso Fini.

		Alleanza Nazionale has distanced itself from Benito Mussolini and fascism and made efforts to improve relations with Jewish groups.
