Hunter Creek Park is not very well known, and is probably not a very good recommendation for the novice, since it isn't machine-groomed and has some steep hills and dangerous gorges.
Follow the signs to Allegany State Park, crossing the Allegany river and passing the exits for routes 17 and 219.
