Allen Welsh Dulles (April 23, 1893 – January 29, 1969) was the first civilian Director (1953-1961) of the Central Intelligence Agency and a member of the Warren Commission.
Dulles was the younger brother of John Foster Dulles, Eisenhower's Secretary of State and main United Fruit Company shareholder.
In 1969 Dulles died of influenza, complicated by pneumonia, at the age of 75.
