		Founded in the year 2000 by the brothers Miroslav and Sdrjan Brankovic, ALOGIA recorded two long players for One Records in Serbian in 2002 and 2004, therefore it is no surprise that the new one's sound is absolutely professional.
		Musically ALOGIA originates in western bands like Judas Priest, Iron Maiden and Helloween, as they say themselves, but progressive influences from Dream Theater and Arcturus can't be neglected at all.
		It is supposed to be the English version of their second album, which is said to be even more progressive and not as close to power-metal than the current one.

	Album Review: Alogia - The Secret Spheres of Art
		Alogia has established themselves as a top Serbian metal band and is a mixture of 70s hard rock, 80s heavy metal, and 90s progressive rock.
		On Secret Spheres of Art, Alogia takes a little bit of psychedelia, a little of the 1970s prog movement and a liberal dose of classic 1980s metal and blends it together into a prog-metal stew that sounds like a much rawer and less refined version of early Dream Theater.
		Since the recording of this album they've had a few years to hone their sound, and it would be very interesting to hear their next album which they plan to release with english lyrics sometime this year.

		After the album had been recorded Branislav knew that many changes would have to be made in order for Draconic to function as a real band and not just a studio project.
		A new line-up needed to be assembled in order for Draconic to be able to bring these songs to life in live situations.

		Apparently one of Serbia's top metal bands, Alogia formed in 2000 and released two albums in their native country, and then decided to branch out to the Western market by signing to the Spanish label Locomotive Records and re-releasing their debut album with English lyrics, resulting in Secret Spheres Of Art.
		Much of the album is typical Euro upbeat power metal, particularly songs such as "Samson" and "Legend Of A Stolen Heart", though they also go for a more accessible hard rock style on "As The Time Passes By".
		A fine effort for a band that may yet gain some international fame.
