	BMW World - Z8 Alpina
		Located in the Upper Bavarian town of Buchloe, Alpina was established in 1963 as a BMW tuner.
		The Alpina engine is a 4.8-liter with 375 hp, with individual throttles for each of the eight cylinders and many other racecar-like engineering features.
		The power peak of the Alpina engine comes at 5800 rpm vs. 6600, and its torque peak occurs at the same 3800 rpm but is actually higher, with 383 lb-ft. (vs. 368 lb-ft).

		Based on an older Alpina B3 3.0 model which was based on the 328i, the B3 3.2 was designed to compete with the M3 Evo launched by BMW in 1995.
		The 3.0 was 71 horsepower off the mark of the M3 Evo so its engine displacement was enlarged from 3.0 to 3.2 litres producing an extra 10 Newton-metres of torque and 15 horsepower.
		Exterior changes include a new front spoiler, new Alpina wheels, an optional rear spoiler and optional Alpina decals.

		The 'Stella Alpina Motociclistica Internazionale', more commonly known as the Stella Alpina Rally (or just "The Stella"), has taken place in the Italian Alps every year since 1966.
		With the exception of the very first Stella Alpina, the meeting has taken place in the Italian ski-resort town of Bardonecchia which is located close to the Italian border with France at the end of the Frejus tunnel that links the two countries.
		Whilst the highlight of the event for many is the Sunday ride up the largely unsurfaced track to the (9872ft elevation) Colle del Sommeiller, the socialising over the whole weekend is also a major attraction of the event.
