I am of the opinion that Mr Altaf Hussain’s outbursts in India should be viewed in the background of late Mohtarma Fatima Jinnah’s statements which she issued from time to time on the Independence Day of Pakistan during her lifetime.
Many have raised their hue and cry over what Mr Altaf said in India but none have had the courage to object, to the unwarranted visit of Mr Shaukat Aziz to the grave of Nawab Ismail, one-time President of All India Muslim League of pre-partition days.
There are many in our unfortunate country today who hold the same views as Mr Altaf Hussain has had the courage to express so outspokenly but are afraid to say so openly for fear of being reprimanded.
