Brown, the featured celebrity chef at the California stops on the 25-city "Super Chefs" tour, said he plans to demonstrate how to make beef jerky – "a great low-carb snack" – and funnel cakes.
Brown is the author of "I'm Just Here for the Food" and "Alton Brown's Gear For Your Kitchen." His latest book, "I'm Just Here for More Food," is due out in October.
Brown is scheduled to present cooking demonstrations at 1 p.m., 2:30 and 4.
