		Alyn Smith said that the crisis would "spawn generation after generation of suicide bombers".
		Mr Smith was part of a cross-party, cross-nation delegation, which made a fact-finding trip to the region.
		Mr Smith, who was one of 12 MEPs on the fact-finding trip led by Italian MEP Luisa Morgantini, said he went with an open mind and with the hope that Scotland may be able to play more of a role in resolving the crisis.

		Smith (1921, 80) illustrates a cross-section of the Bryncelyn Lode, running east to west across the limestone hill, naming the shafts as follows, East Iron, Brick or West Iron, Bryn's, Whim shaft, Wheel Shaft, Rundee, Davey's, Dyer's, Taylor's, Bryncelyn, Old Engine Shaft and Waterwheel Shaft.
		Within the field of rough pasture to the west of the old ruined house (SJ19986632) are the remains of a shaft filled with rubble at SJ19926631, having the suggestion of a platform alongside it.
		The mine was drained by a level driven in from the River Alyn and much later by the Halkyn Drainage Level.

	SNP make splash in Western Isles
		Alyn Smith MEP and Rob Gibson spent their time looking at renewable projects on the islands, visiting the Arnish yard and the waterwheel at Lews Castle College where they also met with students and lecturers.

		The Director General of EuroControl has offered to meet Mr Smith after confirming that the inquiry had not addressed planes known to have passed through Scottish airports.
		Mr Smith had sent EuroControl a list of plane registrations asking for information on where they went after leaving Scottish airspace.

		Mr Dimas was asked to intervene by Scottish Nationalist MEP Alyn Smith and his Holyrood colleague Bruce Crawford when it became apparent neither the Scottish Parliament nor Westminster had any authority to prevent STS transfers.
