St. Peter the Martyr (Site not responding. Last check: 2007-11-03) |
 | | The location where this church is built is the most antique district of Alzano Lombardo, placed at the foots of "the wine-trees hill". |
 | | Angelo Mandelli reported on his book "Alzano on the Centuries" the legend narrated by the local historian Francesco Valle (1786 - 1869), telling that, at that time, there was a temple dedicated to Mars, substituted during the Paleo-Christian Age by a church built there. |
 | | The present organ was made by Natale Balbiani and Sons on 1912, with a pneumatic-tubolar transmission, and was installed after the conclusion of the church's expansion works, who caused irreparable damages to the existing mechanical pipe organ, made in 1857 by Giovanni Giudici, pupil of Serassi. |
