You have correctly pointed out that the stem isn't smooth, but it also looks from your photo as if there are fragments of veil left on the cap surface and, importantly, that they are grey.
These, and the general colour of the cap, point to your fungus being Amanita ceciliae (aka inaurata).
The scales on the stem become somewat greyish and zoned in this species, but your specimen was still young.

I made some researsh and found that this is a Amanita fulva.
Jerome I think I would have removed the big green leaf from the background as its a bit distracting other wise god POV and DOF.
